That being said I think the story is fun. I like how it runs parallel to the original Star Wars story. There’s a good amount of fan service, but not too much. The combat is satisfying. Overwatch just doesn’t work correctly, but it’s otherwise a good strategy game.Team building is hard in a good way

Roll credits on Star Wars Zero Company. 8/10. Took 31 hours. Hard difficulty. Permadeath enabled but no deaths. Wish I picked expert, by the end I could steam roll any mission. The game feels a bit unpolished. Camera doesn’t know what it’s doing half the time, some stuttering and a few crashes.

Today, the UN officially designated Israel’s assault on Gaza as a genocide. As a party to the Genocide Convention, the U.S. has a legal obligation to obey our own laws, stop weapons sales to Israel, and demand a permanent ceasefire. End the genocide. Ceasefire now.

257. The Commission recommends that all Member States:
(a) Employ all means reasonably available to them to prevent the commission of genocide in the Gaza Strip;
(b) Cease the transfer of arms and other equipment or items, including jet fuel, to the State of Israel or third States where there is reason to suspect their use in military operations that have involved or could involve the commission of genocide;
(c) Ensure individuals and corporations in their territories and within their jurisdiction are not involved in the commission of genocide, aiding and assisting the commission of genocide or incitement to commit genocide and investigate and prosecute those who may be implicated in these crimes under international law;
(d) Facilitate the investigations and domestic proceedings and take action (including imposing sanctions) against the State of Israel and against individuals or corporations that are involved in or facilitating the commission of genocide or incitement to commit genocide;
(e) Cooperate with the investigation of the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.
258. The Commission recommends that the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court:
(a) Examine, within its continuing investigation in the Situation in the State of Palestine, the crime of genocide for amendment to existing arrest warrants and addition to future application for arrest warrants;
(b) Examine the involvement of officials mentioned in this report for inclusion as those most responsible for international crimes committed in the occupied Palestinian territory.

People are living through the era with the most technological advancement in history and yet people are worse off today than they were in 1980. How is the argument that we just need more technology? How do we ensure that the benefits from these innovations actually benefit people and not just VCs.

Finished reading Abundance. I generally agree with the YIMBY aspects of the book but writing a book about “a new political era” and completely ignoring economic trend is absurd. Yeah, it should be easier to build houses and HSR but also we have the highest wealth disparity since Feudalism… (1/2)

Whether or not these tariffs go through or not, the US has a strong grip on semiconductor manufacturing because they have power over American design, Dutch lithography, and Taiwanese fabrication. Trump’s antagonization of Taiwan (and Europe) pose a threat to America’s control on computing.
