Since it's October I'm recalling some Halloween burlesque moments and two of them involved me being slathered in red food made to look like gore/blood. One I had my heart ripped out and the other I chopped off a performers head with an axe and eating her brains. Very sexy. Happy spooky season!

I know you're not in the UK but they coopted the rainbow lanyards to be NHS supportive rather than LGBT supportive and a SOME of bigots now wear the rainbow ones here and it's one of the things that annoyed me most about the whole general public response to COVID.

I used to decide care charges for a living and honestly some of the poshest houses had the lowest finances because they've never had help, never claimed benefits, had to sell off everything they owned.

The fluorescent orange really changed the entire thing. Decided that the blood red could be used after all. Added a few spots of grey and mixed up a brown that I absolutely hate so has been used sparsely. It's getting harder! #artsky
