Earlier today I took a wrong turn trying to follow a new bike trail and discovered there is a pretty nice wooded area with trails through it not that far from where I have lived for over a decade.

A dirt trail leads through many trees, going uphill. sunlight comes through the trees creating patterns from shadows along the ground.

Day two of my trip to #Toronto included a relatively brief visit to #Biidaasige Park.

A third and final batch of photos from my #Toronto trip come from my time on the island, including visiting the children's garden of one of my favourite book characters as a child, Franklin the turtle.

This week I spent a couple of days in #Toronto. The primary objective of the first day was to bike the Waterfront trail. Here are some of my favourite photos from along the way.

Over a bridge railing, there is a point of land sticking out with nice rocks around the edge, the walking/biking trail, grass, and trees. It is more of a designed park area, rather than a more natural setting.

The final stop of our East Coast trip was much less new but was still exciting, as we stopped for a couple of days in our old home of #Kingston on the way home. We took in lots of time downtown, checked out Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, and of course the Penitentiary.

Community festival season is the best season. This weekend is Buskerfest. What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than a short bike ride to watch a German guy crack whips on fire while his friend beatboxes, interspersed with weirdly dark and/or vaguely sexual jokes?
