Lisa Wallace @rwillowfish.bsky.social · 02/11/2025Oh, wow, just realized that 23 years ago today I got clean and sober. Look at those cool cannabis leaf beads strung on my mirror. That was before. Ha! Good ol' days. That's the porch of the house where I lived in Oakland, CA. Smoked a lot of cigarettes out there. 2110
Lisa Wallace @rwillowfish.bsky.social · 02/11/2025I haven't been her for awhile. If you knew Audrey, unfortunately she died last month. I miss her terribly. That spicy tabby ran this house, and now I do it but I'm boring. 13241

Lisa Wallace @rwillowfish.bsky.social · 12/03/2025Sometimes my meds cause my blood pressure to drop and I'm dizzy for a period of time. This doesn't happen often. To me, it's a tolerable adverse effect. It's tolerable because my other choice is plunging back down into depression. I wonder what others find to be tolerable adverse effects. 170

Lisa Wallace @rwillowfish.bsky.social · 09/03/2025The sketches did their part in getting me going. Then I spent a lot of time in details and colors. Then I was done. 4/4 160
Lisa Wallace @rwillowfish.bsky.social · 09/03/2025When I stalled for a long, long, long time, I switched over to sketches based on the painting so far. This was to get myself going again. 3/4 150
Lisa Wallace @rwillowfish.bsky.social · 09/03/2025I started with a primed canvas and some quick sketching with burnt sienna on a brush. Little did I know how much I'd stay with my initial design. 2/4 120
Lisa Wallace @rwillowfish.bsky.social · 09/03/2025Hard Stories to Tell (38"x 30" acrylic painting) I just finished this painting, a piece I started way back during pandemic quarantine. I've worked on it sporadically, then much more consistently in recent weeks until I said stop, it's done. 🧵of start to finish, if you're interested. 1/4 1274

Lisa Wallace @rwillowfish.bsky.social · 04/03/2025Today’s activities include a tire pressure adjustment because that indicator light is on, grocery shopping, and more painting. I speak only for myself, not Audrey, who I think is planning to nap. 070
