I’ve been using Mimestream for email for a bit now. I tried switching back to Apple Mail. It lasted less than 12 hours. ✉️

I have no idea why we’re seeing so many Texas political ads in Pennsylvania today. I wonder if someone made a mistake in their ad buy. But this just feels like a waste of someone’s money. 💸

At this rate, maybe we’ll see Stubbs pitch tonight for the Phillies. ⚾️

The Eagles are making Case Keenum look like a Pro Bowl QB at 38 years old. 🤦🏻‍♂️🏈

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

It’s so nice to see Zach Ertz back in an Eagles jersey. 🏈

The Phillies made it into the postseason on the last day of the season. They don’t deserve to be there. They probably won’t make it far. But I’ll take it. It’s free baseball from here on out. ⚾️

I think this was the first year I didn’t put a beta OS on my carry devices. Not sure if that says something about me or the betas. Probably me. 📱

000

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Watching the Phillies this year has been tough. The offense has been so inconsistent. Either 9 runs or 0. The bullpen continues to be a dumpster fire. Oh well. Eagles start soon.

000

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Never forget. 😢 🇺🇸

I used to enjoy Instagram. Now it’s just AI slop. I think it’s finally time to delete the app.

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

Watching the Phillies can be painful sometimes. They keep giving these games away. ⚾️

I’m not a generally a fan of Apple Fitness+, but I love the yoga workouts. The yoga workouts are great. 🧘🏻‍♂️

I had no idea that Ryan Meetups were a thing. But they are. There’s even a Philadelphia Chapter. Not sure I’ll ever go, but it’s nice to know they exist.

Took the younger two kids to see Spider-Man: Brand New Day last night. It was a fun movie. 🎥

Having used Teams for the last year, I miss Slack so much.

Saw The Odyssey last night. I really enjoyed it. 🎬

The Phillies need a new bullpen. ⚾️

This was a fun run for US during the World Cup. I just hope we qualify next time to give it another shot. 🇺🇸⚽️

Ready for the US game. Go USA! 🇺🇸⚽️

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

The winds and storms were pretty crazy last night. Lost power. Still waiting for it to come back on.

These World Cup games have been a lot of fun to watch. ⚽️

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

Hot. But I’ll take this over subfreezing Winter weather.

A weather forecast shows a temperature of 93°F with a feeling of 111°F, cloudy with lightning, and includes a humorous warning not to let your Mogwai get wet.

Mandatory P00P game post. Go Phil’s! ⚾️

A baseball game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Philadelphia Phillies is scoreless in the bottom of the first inning with a play where Bryan Reynolds grounds out to second base, and Bryson Stott is thrown out by Bryce Harper.

Not watching any news for the last week has been refreshing. I should continue this. 📰

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Looks like I came back home for a hot week this week. 🥵

The 10-day forecast shows rain over the weekend with temperatures rising from the low 70s to a high of 102°F by Friday, followed by mostly sunny to partly cloudy conditions.

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

Spend the last week in Mexico. It was amazing. Maybe I’ll write about it at some point. Watched both the US and Mexico games in a sports bar. That was a ton of fun. ⚽️

In my personal AI usage, I’ve found that I’ll use Claude and Codex for programming questions and problems. But for more general usage, I’ll use ChatGPT or Gemini, I won’t even consider Claude. Not sure how I got here, but here I am. 🤖

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

Let’s go USA! 🇺🇸 ⚽️

The bookstore is highlighting some local authors. I picked on up. 📚

A bookshelf displays a collection of colorful books, including titles in the Summer Vibes section.

Walking through West Chester, PA today. Doing some local shopping. Of course, I had to visit a bookstore.

A cozy reading corner features a bookshelf filled with colorful books, a blue armchair, and a decorative rug.

The Mandalorian and Grogu was a lot of fun. Would recommend. Paying $11 for a soda, not as much fun. I would see more movies in theaters if it wasn’t so expensive. 🍿

Went to the Phillies game last night. It was 90º F at first pitch (6:40 pm), but turned into a nice night for baseball. Phillies made a comeback win and we even got to see Duran’s entrance live. ⚾️

P00P game is back. I’m basically a 6 year old.

A baseball game scoreboard shows the Philadelphia Phillies and Pittsburgh Pirates tied at 0-0, with Bryce Harper fouling off a 93 mph slider from Braxton Ashcraft.

Using my AirPods Max again today to really try to focus. Whenever I adjust the volume via the Digital Crown, I do the wrong the first time, every time. 🤣 🎧

The Flyers game tonight has been fun to watch. So many players in the penalty box right now. 🏒

I’ve been using Microsoft Teams as my chat client for nearly a year at work. It’s not good. I never thought I would miss Slack like I do.

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 12/04/2026

I’ve been tinkering with Claude Code, Gemini CLI, and Codex more recently. Claude Code was my favorite, but it’s taken a dive in the last week or two. It’s gotten slow and I hit my token limit much sooner than I used to. I’ve been relying on it less. 🤖

000

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

I want to like AirPods Max. I have a first-gen USB-C model. But they are so freakin’ heavy and give me a headache after about 30 minutes. The AirPods Pro are so much better and more comfortable. 🎧

This is going to be a long Phillies baseball season. 😞 ⚾️

000

Ryan Grier @rwgrier.bsky.social · 26/03/2026

I see the Phillies are starting right where they left off. Doing well and then trying to lose in the 9th. 🤦🏻‍♂️ ⚾️

Baseball is back. Go Phils! ⚾️

I switched from an Apple Watch Ultra to a Seiko Automatic Watch about four months ago. I’m happy with my change and have gotten more compliments on the Seiko than I ever got on my Apple Watch. Plus, I never need to charge it. ⌚️

This isn’t looking good for Team USA. The offense just can’t do anything. ⚾️
