To ensure better care for our roster with the recent expansions, we are pleased to announce that our company physician Dr Martin Scrote will now work fulltime. As the brother of boxer Terry "The Tornado" Scrote, he has a lot of in ring experience, and will be providing support at all events.

So, in a bid to try to find a way that we can eventually show this old fight without getting battered, I've chopped out the one bit of introduction (so the Dickie is out, I'm afraid), and checked with 'Uncle Paul' that we aren't infringing anything. This extract from the British Bout Bible explains:

in Rocky III than any MMA bout. As such, it's hard to see what purpose the referee (perpetual cornerman 'Terrible' Tony LeDec) serves aside from administering a 10 count. In particular, there's one moment where one of the participants is turfed over the ropes in a seemingly direct violation of published rules mandating both fighters remain in the ring. At that point Tony lives up to his nickname by not only failing to intercede, but bizarrely administering the 10 count for a standard knockdown. Mercifully, the result wasn't affected but what chance did the fans have if the referees are ignorant of the rules. However, Tony's eccentric performance was far from the dodgiest part of the event presentation. As stadium hosts go, getting Yorkshire clubland "never was" Wally Hayes to trot out his Howard Finkel impression as your ring announcer feels ill advised at best, and, given a lack of direct credit to distinguish him from the real deal, deliberate passing off at worst. Indeed, this coupled with their guileless

choice of initials apparently attracted the ire of Titan Towers when the tape was first circulated to potential buyers. Vince's strongest tag team - "Cease" and "Desist" - duly blocked any distribution or further events, not that much of value was lost.

Inside the Great House, lighting largely in place using the old mountings. The idea is to use what was the original seating space for the ring, and put seating on the wings so that we can have the conventional CPCW spec apron, and floor seating. Fortunately, the ring is Unique's job, not mine.
