While it might not be financially wise, there's internal value in doing so. 😅 Inspired by @simpleanalytics.bsky.social, all my apps will showcase this at the top of the paywalls in the coming days.

You’re right. I just wanted to jump on the hype train of the other apps that use the first two images to create a catchy one… now I’m going to try a hybrid next.

I'm excited to promote the free lifetime offer for the WhatsCook app on the subreddit iOSApp. It's great, but I can't find a subreddit for Android users. Can you help me find some lucky Android users out there? Grab the lifetime offer today. 👇

Stop It is live on Product Hunt today 🎉 A simple app I made to help with cravings — cigarettes, snus, sugar, whatever you’re trying to cut back on. Any support means a lot 💛 Link’s in the first comment 👇

I developed an app called Stop It to help curb or reduce cravings, whether for smoking, snus, sugar, or anything else. If a craving hits, watch the strips move from one side to the other for 30 seconds. It might help. If not, at least you tried. Link in post below 👇

Lately, I've been seeing posts about "viral" Instagram or TikTok videos to promote one's own app. However, the interesting numbers are often missing. Here are mine from last month. More downloads? Almost none... kind of sobering... but I won't give up.

Manuel Roth @ruuusch.bsky.social · 12/05/2025

I’ll try adding a small banner at the bottom today. The main reason I do that is because I’ve had Reels with over 5,000 views—but no one clicks through to the landing page. 😅

Manuel Roth @ruuusch.bsky.social · 12/05/2025

I guess Instagram automatically detects when there’s something unusual at the end of a Reel, outside the normal context. So they punish it—like with a shadowban. That one yesterday barely got any views.

Manuel Roth @ruuusch.bsky.social · 12/05/2025

Can you guess which video I added a CTA to download the app? It seems like Insta doesn't like that. I'll add a small banner at the bottom instead for the rest of the month. bsky.app/profile/ruu...

Better than I expected! 🤩 Some likes, but no comments... and more importantly, almost no visits to the landing page. 💁‍♂️ I'm wondering if adding a CTA at the end of the short reel would have a negative impact?

Manuel Roth @ruuusch.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

After warming up the account for the first 7 days, I scheduled Instagram posts for the next 30 days. 😅 I'm honest—I don't expect too much, but let's see...

Manuel Roth @ruuusch.bsky.social · 25/04/2025

Nice use case 👏 Should I try that ad out? What's a good starting point for targeting without spending too much money? x.com/nico_jeanne...

Manuel Roth @ruuusch.bsky.social · 21/04/2025

Something I don't understand: @OpenAI credits expire! 🙄 I really appreciate what they're doing, but this feels like I'm being cheated. It's not like I haven't already spent enough money on it. So, what should I build with the remaining credits?
