010

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

on tiktok, theres a trend where people are drawing their favorite characters with their problems, and considering my apartment's ac unit COMPLETELY overreacted last week, i figured i'd partake 👹👹 it was probably rocky who lit up the ac unit 😔😔 he snuck in there i think 😔 #rocky #lackadaisy #fanart

021

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

i hope yall like edits to wind band music bc thats what i made ❤️❤️ the song is howls and hymns by viet cuong, the audio i used is david binder's trombone solo 💪💪 #rockyrickaby #lackadaisy #rockylackadaisy #lackadaisycats #edit #fanedit

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

naw bro you're all good- thats kinda the point of fandoms and shit, we all have cool different ideas and takes on the same characters 💪💪

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

EXACTLY BRRUHHDD S AUSHHDDHDH IM GONN FUCKING CRASH OHT

210

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

yes i LOVE tearing into character's self loathing and depressed sides- i do this with husk from hazbin hotel too- honestly this animation ive finished is the first happier drawing(s) ive done in YEARS, just bc i LARVE angst 💪💪

120

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

i know that, at least in the show or comic, he's never seen to be suicidal, but honestly i highkey headcannon he's got bipolar (..mostly bc i see a lot of myself in him and ive got it), and is passively suicidal both when manic and depressed- so that one would be more of my own fanon version of him

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

there will be at least one plab going through ❤️❤️

000

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

010

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

real bruh we need a MUCH higher character allowance 😔😔😔

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(9) fuck i have more- a lot of them would have themes of rocky drowning- he has a lot of very subtle water motifs, i'd love to lean into that. listening to the laplaces angel idea rn, i'd love to make the tom drums rushing water thats chasing him.

000

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(8)- big bad voodoo daddy: - oh yeah - what's next - save my soul realistically, not many of these are gonna get done- right now, im really interested in the "hometown boy," "calm me down," and "poor jackie" ideas (also sorry for like.. a SHIT ton of comments, i just have a lot of ideas 👹👹)

210

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(7)-whole band preforming and just having some fun- song's i'd imagine they'd preform, that being: squirrel nut zippers; - fat cat keeps getting fatter (live at sea preformance) - hell cherry poppin daddies: - 42nd street - zoot suit riot - shake your lovemaker - honestly just all of their songs-

210

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(6)-where rocky is riding that.. massive machine and slinging dynamite. and also, "howls and hymns" by viet cuong, it'd be a beautiful piece to draw the more pensive side of his personality- maybe an animatic of how i imagine his backstory to be also, theres a couple songs i'd want to draw the-

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(5)-singing abt how he wants to get murdered by her. if i were to draw it, it'd be rocky breaking down on the bridge, and end with him jumping off theres also a couple wind band songs i love that'd fit him. teeth of the mechanism by john mackey would go PERFECT with the scene in the pilot-

210

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(4)-digging up a grave and it'd be more atmospheric the breakdown about 4 minutes into "poor jackie" by man man, where either its a VERY out of character way rocky sees mitzi, OR, and more likely, i'll turn the "jackie" character in the song into the mississippi river- in the song, the singer is-

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(3) and laplaces angel would be.. also about him breaking down) i'd wanna animate him playing the violin solo in "my drag" by squirrel nut zippers, with mitzi being the one singing "hometown boy" by asylum street spankers, starting at "well theres an amaco pipeline," it'd be him in the woods-

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(2) another is the kinda incomprehensible part of gravity by the dresden dolls- "you can do it! left foot, right foot", where its rocky and ivy running through the field and rocky gets hit by the hearse (also, for the ideas for the previous two- "calm me down" would be rocky breaking down,

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

(1) all of it is songs i'd draw him to- one idea is the end of "calm me down" by mother mother, specifically where it starts at "i wanna be a good man" another is laplace's angel by will wood- starting at the bridge with "if you wash your hands of where youve been until you flood the second floor

210

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

the lyrics are: "6up 5oh, pigs come, i cop 'n go, the blotter shows they got me on the rocks like galapagos, good luck findin' critters creepy as me, they shoulda fried me, i'll give you ptsd" and THANK YOUUUUWUHH i loved animating it and ive got SO many more ideas for animations/animatics

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 05/01/2026

it is done 👹👹 i made this entirely in toonsquid, if yall want a bts let me know cause i didnt delete any of the sketches 💪💪 #lackadaisy #rockyrickaby #fanart #animation #lackadaisycats #rocky #art ⚠️⚠️FLASH WARNING⚠️⚠️ (he gets electrocuted so.. theres a part thats very flashy)

010

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 04/01/2026

another update- i cut the ending off when exporting for now bc.. its just the same as the beginning. i got the basic keyframes completely done for this next part, i just needa go in and add all the little inbetweens on some of them still (and finish up the end of this section) #rockyrickaby #art

010

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 29/12/2025

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 29/12/2025

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

dude the hat trick has got me thinking.. im incorporating it into a fic im writing (the one im actually AM gonna post to ao3 that i mentioned earlier), where husk is drunk as hell and tries to hide in it, but gets stuck or something and gets fucking sprung back out of it and its lowkey funny asf

010

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

unfortunately not really 😔😔 most of the fics i write, i write them in my notes app, and then i get embarrassed asf abt them so then i delete them, but i have one im actually planning on posting- my ao3 is the same it is here- hasbeenbitch, and if its not that, it might be hasbeenditch 💪💪

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

(SSMMAASSHHH) so anyways.. howd you feel abt the ep8 fight with val.. 🥴🥴

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 10/12/2025

dude fuckin MEE TOO with the husk and vaggie being besties bruh- i write a lot of sick/hurt fics with husk being the one on the receiving end of it all, and i love when vaggie gets involved and is like "jesus christ husk, what did you get yourself into this time," but helps

110

ruustrr @ruustrr.bsky.social · 08/12/2025

(6)... also im writing a fic abt this, except idk if yall'd wanna read it bc i also included husk getting alcohol poisoning and its a sickfic and ik a lotta people dont like that but FUCK i larve the fic so far its so good
