Q. Restore Britain to what exactly? No former century appeals to me. As a woman I want to be able to wear jeans/trousers without getting "strange looks" or adverse comments. Being able to have control over my own money/property too.

Only if you can afford to switch to an EV. I'm completely stuck with an ageing petrol car. I'm environmentally conscious & am lucky enough to be in an area where I can get a bus. BUT going out in the evening it has to be a car.

Can't stand people like this. I'm monetarily poor compared to many of my peers. But I do lots of voluntary work for others less fortunate & see the good around me every day. Can only think he's one of the many money rich, spiritually & empathetically poor whose negativity I & UK can do without.

(Personally, I'd also like a mandatory course on civics before we vote. Just a 5 minute film people have to watch, so they at least know the basics. Although that's probably a step too far for most of you, and horrifically hard to get anybody to agree to what the civics lesson looks like.)

Start the week today 7th Sept Radio 4 addressed the malaise democracy faces. Agree with Gordon Brown. The huge drop in young people going to sport clubs/scouts/guides etc & staying inside to look @ a screen is eroding our democratic way of life. Society begins with all of us. And that = interaction.
