Happy Sunday! And huge thanks to everyone who has bought #thelightacandlesociety (in any format) So excited to wake up and find that it is now an Amazon Top Ten Kindle Bestseller. This book is so special to me - it means the world. Ps - it's NOT a romance #kindle #bestseller #fiction #notaromance

Whilst writing #thelightacandlesociety, I saw this film starring the brilliant Eddie Marsan. It's a quiet masterpiece of a movie, and I can't recommend it highly enough @atlanticbooks.bsky.social @mslisahighton.bsky.social #publichealthfunerals #eddiemarsan

Who remembers Loulou by Cacharel? Back in the 80s, it was my favourite perfume (along with Poison for Big Nights out!) It's also the perfume of choice of one of my characters in #thelightacandlesociety. Pure coincidence it matches the cover of the book! #fictionalcharacters #loulou #perfume #1980s

I finished reading #TheLightaCandleSociety by @ruthhoganauthor.bsky.social late last night, thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't want it to end. Luckily I have the audio book to listen to. Poignant Author's Note (and I always read the acknowledgements) if I could I would give it 10 gold ⭐ #booksky 📚💙
