Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 29/07/2026Yeah that’s neat. I read the other comments and understood a bit better. We’ve had many tick scares here and had to do the doxycycline a few times. Unpleasant. We have a lot of Lyme here, and apparently also the weird longhorn allergic to meat forever disease which is bonkers. 110
Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 17/07/2026What do you use to measure? Also good luck !! Hopefully there’s some rain coming, we’ve got a smaller one here on the east coast 000

Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 15/07/2026And quite bluntly I can’t keep up with Microsoft’s shenanigans and product nerfing. I always return to pen and paper 011
Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 15/07/2026Tried it a few times medium rare success. I have seen some wildly successful versions of people making notebooks and sub notebook section things that follow a rigorous format and heirarchy that seemed to work for them. I think the key seems to be discipline. Too structured for me and my brain 110

Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 05/07/2026I’ve run across a few GM guides but it’s usually tips and tricks and fun mechanics, of just books of characters and scenarios. The wotc DM guide has always been ok imo but philosophically these all just feel like HOW to be a gm not really how to BE a gm 010
Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 24/06/2026Fun yeah I’ll take a look. I thinks it’s avail on ps, will have to check. It sounds a bit like apex (teams, hero based) but maybe more objectivey vs battle royale. Thanks! 010
Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 24/06/2026Is over watch good? I tried playing call of duty a bit ago and between the 500hours of downloading and the completely frantic dieing and waiting for another loading screen it’s been quickly deleted… apex legends I play a bit and enjoy, but haven’t tried overwatch 110

Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 20/06/2026Ouff. Yeah that is at least a positive spin, job rejection sucks. I once got all the way to a third interview before they just said “ meh, we’re not going to bother hiring anyone” 000
Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 20/06/2026In search of new hobbies that are social. Hip and knee seem to be fucked so looks like 20 years is the expiry on karate for me. Need something else to get me out f the house 010

Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 06/06/2026Mortal Kombat, maybe Street Fighter? Seldom have I finished one since those days… honestly thinking back the only others that come to mind that I actually saw end credits on were Majora’s mask and ocarina of time 010
Rusty 🐢 Sōmu @rustyturtle.bsky.social · 16/02/2026Fewer rules the better honestly… less rules lawyering and more fun. I disconnect when I have to learn a 300 page text of errata and “uhm actually” just to do a thing that’s supposed to be fun. I got into TTRPG proper in my 30s… maybe late 20’s? But before that I played muds so had some exposure 010
