Over Thanksgiving weekend, my family & I stayed at the Ocean Casino in A.C. and it was an absolutely memorable time. Extremely proud of myself for walking my first 5K event in a while. I'm gearing up for the Spring Disney 5K in April so this is a good way to see where I am. I'm incredibly sore the day after, but I'm just happy that I was able to persevere and cross that finish line.

Finished my Kundalini #yoga class half an hour ago and I feel rejuvenated! This feeling of relaxation and yet being awake and alert. This class allowing this duality of sensation to happen is just the thing I needed to let out all this pent up energy that I've been holding on to and letting it go.

Senryu is basically a form of haiku poetry that highlights human interaction whereas haiku focuses on nature.

Took advantage of the really pretty day- I enjoyed a couple of glasses at one of my favorite vineyards. Got a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio

I remember sitting in the front yard during the peak of the eclipse watching the moon cover the sun (80% for me), it was absolutely memorizing. Something tells me a lot of poems were written on that day - I'm glad this #haiku is one of them Photo credit goes to Tomruen from the Wikipedia Commons.
