I didn't realize in the 90s how many star trek episodes were just remixes of Plato's Cave

I am going to be one of the people responsible for the AI uprising. I, as an IT person, am sick of AI and it is more of a pain in the ass than it is worth most of the time

Despite saying it is concerned about my safety, but babbles with unneccessary info while in a stressfull driving situation. Then it tells me that it does not respond to verbal abuse. I respond that I can fucking throw it out the window on to the highway

Going out to the middle of the woods and yelling at Rocks and the moon useful and relieves stress Yelling at WAZE's AI because even though it is owned by google it does not respond as well as Google's AI (which is one of the worse to interact with IMHO) and then the AI monologues

Work. Will I do my best if I have to work for a Disney product that a company I work for gets their hands on, yes. Will I believe in the product or be excited about it? No Maybe at one point the "magic" of "The Magic Kingdom" was a good thing. Maybe. But not anymore

RustRyu @rustryu.bsky.social · 22/09/2025

This is just another chapter in shitty decisions that negatively affect people, but it is the one that people are waking up to. So yeah if the shadow of the mouse is on it I don't want to consume it. But considering how vast their empire is at some point I will have to touch some of their IP for

RustRyu @rustryu.bsky.social · 22/09/2025

As far as I am concerned Disney can chew on the "Target effect" for the rest of time. There is such a thing as too little too late and this misstep should of never been taken. In the entertainment business "Das Rat" doesn't have a good rep from shitty non-compete clauses to treatment / behavior

*bane voice* you were merely born with Ehlers-Danlos. I fully explored it as a child.

RustRyu @rustryu.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

Truth, but after driving in Philly the other week, I will take RVA's driving over Philly. Boston is still the city I dislike driving in the most, specifically downtown Boston

RustRyu @rustryu.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

I really dislike daytime driving. The overall lack of situational awareness and self entitlement. Today's traffic so far has been an "orgy of penile fractures" If you use that as an album title please don't credit me

RustRyu @rustryu.bsky.social · 04/09/2025

When it comes to visuals and technology usage. Pink Floyd is the best selling early industrial band. Album wise I would say Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation Then Prince's Batman album

Part of me wants to be even more discerning and narrow it down to on the left in VA. Really my heart is in the "change begins at home" and lifting up local communities. But then I feel guilty if I don't follow back everyone. Even though half the time it is an echo chamber of the same news

Another good Open Table night at Fallout. Two of my regulars spun and had 6 people who have never DJ before smiling and learning as they did their first sets. Pass on your knowledge, pass on your love of what you do. Trade skills and reenforce your community
