🟠 innocence lost

illustration of my original character, boris velasco
he stares directly at the viewer with a bright orange glow in his eyes, dark hair blowing in the wind. he wears a light blue pajamas, and holds out his hands to cup a single, faint glow of a butterfly.
Around him flock dozens of ravenous crows, sharing the same menacing glow in their eyes. they are all aimed for what is in his hands at full speed.

Description:
This illustration pertains to much of Boris' character in general. His succumb to hopelessness, seeking power instead of love, losing his innocence and his whimsy.
The frail butterfly symbolizes what remains of his inner child (this is also why Boris likes Aiden, who i also associated with butterflies, because he subconsciously reminds Bo of who he used to be) and the crows are the jaded violence he has been taught to use to feel less small. By habit, they seek to destroy any traces of incorruption - because what if it makes him the weak one again?

“I collected bones from charnel houses; and disturbed, with profane fingers, the tremendous secrets of the human frame. In a solitary chamber, or rather cell, at the top of the house, and separated from all the other apartments by a gallery and staircase, I kept my workshop of filthy creation." 🧪🫀⚗️

Drawing a few npcs for a DnD game I'm gonna run, starting off with this scary looking big dude. But don't worry he don't bite... probably #art #dnd #oc #ocsky

Illustration of a large muscular, masculine character. He stands against a brick wall, holding his fist in his other hand in a threatening manner while he glares at the viewer. He wears a mix of dark leather and cloth clothes, one of his arms has brass coloured armour covered it, while his other arm appears to be a mechanical prosthetic. Metal is also seen fortifying his flesh, as various tubes and wires are seen across his body. He is also covered in various scars, some seem to be surgical while others are clearly from fights

Friend commissioned me to draw the character she'll be playing in my own campaign, and oh boy I think this is one of my favourite character designs I've done in awhile 🥰 #art #dnd #oc

illustration of a woman with fiendish features. Her eyes are orange with black sclera, red hair tied up into a braid, she has a scar on her cheek along with eyebrow and lip piercings.
she wears a white fisherman tunic with the sleeves rolled up at the elbow, a rope is slung across her chest with a belt and suspenders, along with a ruffled skirt that is long in the back and short in the front, below the skirt she wears dark stockings and pirate like high heeled boots.
She stands almost arrogantly with a trident balanced on her shoulders as if asking someone to take her on

One of my OCs but as a cool artificer my players might meet in DnD. He's totally not sleep deprived due to his work obsession no sir #art #ocsky #dnd

Illustration of an elven man, his skin is a pale blueish hue, with dark messy black hair pulled back haphazardly. He wears a white coat reminiscent of a lab coat, and a dark gray sweater and black pants worn underneath. He also wears a pair of goggles resting around his neck, and he wears techy gauntlets/gloves on his hands, with colourful tubes and vials woven into them.

Forged in fire ⚰️ my vampire OC, Gisvarðr/Gaspard 🩸 #ocsky #art #vampires

Halfbody piece of my OC Gisvardr. He’s an older vampire with gray streaks in his brown hair and beard, wearing a vest and cape designed to resemble bat wings, framed against a dark background with a large red moon behind him.

Happy Autumn 🍂

illustration by Abigail Larson depicting the ghost of a woman walking under a ruined stone arch. Three goblins watch her from the top of the ruins. The image has an Autumnal atmosphere, dead leaves are falling.

Normally I'm not the biggest fan of "all teeth are sharp" look for vampires but i think Blood of Dawnwalker has turned me around. There's just something so primal about Coen chomping down on someone and I think that's hot

[OC] Always of injury I dream 💘 #ocart #ttrpg #alttext

Ethel, a very human looking warforged sits on the ground. Arrows litter the ground around her and she hunches forward, holding her core- which has been removed through a hole in her chest.

Black tubing hangs loosely from the opening and dangles on the ground around her knees. Only a couple of the black cables/tubing from her chest are connected to it, and the rest leak a black liquid that pools beneath her. Some of this black blood can be seen on her back, down her chest, and dripping from her lips to her chin- and down onto the core in her hands. Her reflection can be seen in the pools on the ground.

The core glows with a harsh pink light and she looks at it mournfully. The background is honestly idk what- rubble??? and a red sun that hangs low overhead.

I got super lost in the sauce for Paris Paloma's Bleeding Part of Me song and so now here we are. The caption is a reference to this.
