If the bears leave, it won’t be to northwest Indiana. Not enough money there to buy the corporate suites and the high priced individual seasonal packages to offset the loss of northern Chicago money. Why drive all that way? Northwest Indiana?! It’s a pure negotiating ploy.

Correct me if I’m mistaken, but didnt bill walsh avoid full contact live tackling during the season; and wasn’t he ridiculed for that approach by most everyone who believed that physical intensity during practice was a necessity? And as I remember they never played soft during the season.
