A very tired feline janitor shines a flashlight over a storage closet, ready to go home for the night. It rattles ominously, the janitor calling out to whoever was inside to come on out. No response, though-- fluid seeps from a crease under the door. The janitor has little to no time to react as the mimic springs into action upon them drawing closer. It's fleshy tendrils lashing out as it slips it's slimy appendages around the poor janitors neck... drawing them in closer.

Layla, in her mermaid form, the blue and starry cat fish is in the water, reaching out towards a sailor on a wooden boat looking over the edge and down towards her. She has a bright smile on her face that implies only the best of intentions, but below the surface and obscured by the shimmering water, it seems like the cat has had a snack or two, with bulges just breaking the surface to be noticeable if you look closely enough.
