Fantasy is all around us. Always. Thankful to the people that remind us of that. (And thankful to sell books to those that are in the market! 😃)

I’m excited to share another review that came through for the first book in my series, Victory and Death. They also had nice things to say about it. Go to Independent Book Reviews and have a read, if you like! Leave a comment on their review if you agree or have thoughts to add! Thanks, friends.

I remember in the middle of asking that Siri always hears me say 50 instead of 15. R: “Hey, Siri. Set a timer for 50… wait, cancel. Cancel timer.” S: “15-minute ‘Cancel Cancel Timer’ Timer set.” R: (laughing) “Hey, Siri. Cancel timer.” S: “‘Cancel Cancel Timer’ Timer canceled.” R: (laughing more)

Had a ton of fun painting this one! And I had the honor of writing a guest article for the folks who are doing the fan continuation of the game online. Have a read: sites.google.com/view/the-ony... In honor of the late great illustrator and a huge personal inspiration, William O'Connor.

A whole lot of firsts on this project. First time painting this large, first time attempting so many trees and such variety of terrain, and first time attempting to paint something translucent. It’s been fun! “Faerieview” - Acrylics and some Sharpie on 16” x 16” 4-ply poster board.

Whew. More than 14 years ago, I wrote the 90,000-word manuscript of what would eventually turn into my self-published debut novel and first entry in a series. And, now here I sit. First draft of Book Two done. 126,284 words for this draft. Feeling accomplished at this milestone!
