I have a cousin who was in and out of prison for decades. He’d get arrested on purpose because prison was better than existing on the street. He eventually got rehab and is now cured, and lives an honest life, working hard, paying taxes.

I’m 63% British, but taking everything into account I’m 100% European.

I’m in my 60’s, born here and lived here all of my life (almost), but even my English DNA is only 46%. There’s probably not a pure English person to be found alive.
