Decided to redo this one since I did the other 2 paintings and learned a lot. Finally making my way out of the ugly phase for this one! This will be a new sticker and a new memo pad (ideally)

Kinda thinking about doing streaming again. No idea how to set it up since I'm mostly a traditional artist these days. Hmmmmm

RusaPen Arts @rusapenarts.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Just finished Trigun Stargaze and....I definitely feel like it was a downgrade from Stampede. It felt almost preachy at times which was very odd (especially Wolfwood). I feel like it could have been so much better if they had continued with the tone from Stampede. Still, I enjoyed it.

RusaPen Arts @rusapenarts.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Trigun Stampede is SO GOOD omg. Literally almost perfect. My only complaint is that I wish they had kept more of Wolfwood's goofiness. In the manga and 98 series, he was sometimes as goofy as Vash. But I understand why they cut down on it. Vash isn't quite as goofy in Stampede either

RusaPen Arts @rusapenarts.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

I'm finally watching Trigun Stampede and omg it is SO good. I love how they leaned into the western roots but also kinda has horror elements at times. Definitely different from the 98 series but that's not a complaint! It's doing it's own thing and it's doing it so well

I really need to get better at posting on social media. I really want to make my art/custom fountain pen/stationery my main thing but...trying to balance my day job, creating art, AND content creation is very exhausting. SOME DAY I'LL GET THERE!

I love watching old anime and seeing what they thought the future would be like. Like what they thought would be high tech still somehow feels high tech even though something like our smart phones are considered more high tech.

I'm now watching Gundam Witch from Mercury and oh no I love them. You're telling me there's a legit canonical gay couple? And it's the main characters? And they're super cute and NONE OF THE CHARACTERS ARE SEXUALIZED??????

Gundam needs more love! I finished Iron Blooded Orphans last night and holy shit. I was WRECKED but it's so good. If you love a good underdog story, people fighting for human rights ( or rather the right to be human), workers rights, found family then WATCH IRON BLOODED ORPHANS

Now Hiring: someone to slap me upside the head every time I forget to drink water, start to spiral, or get stuck doom scrolling. Ideal candidates will also occasionally deliver gentle pats on the back and/or a radical high five when I do something good. Enthusiastic thumbs up are also accepted.

Was going to do some sealing today after running some errands. 🥲 Instead my car has decided it won't turn on so now I have to wait for a mechanic to take a look. Hopefully it's an easy fix and just the battery but 😭 I did not need this

I saw a comment on YouTube that advertising is just propaganda and as an artist who really struggles with marketing myself, this is eye opening. Marketing myself? Putting myself out there? Oh no, my good human. I'm gonna wage a campaign to BRAINWASH people into buying my art and fountain pens
