First Friday night means art in Binghamton! We went to the Rude and Bold Women exhibit and a few others. Downtown Playground was a dance party thing in a courtyard area near the Stellar Human shop co-sponsored with School of the Arts at BU. Date night with my sweetie.

Well, my octogenarian folks were at their new place getting some stuff set up. Headed back to the old house, they had some problem with one of the wheels on their car. Thought I might have to go give them a ride home (mechanics don't work on Sundays), and figure out their car on Monday.

Went to the Endless Mountains Fiber Fest today. Gave some sheep chin stitches. Bought only 2 skeins of yarn. Watched sheep shearing & herding demonstrations. Did not win a raffle prize. It was a nice morning!

This is my honey. He plays bass at our church. I said something this morning that others in the band didn't quite hear what was said. Anyways, now this sweet, quiet, kind human being is known as "Dragon Smoke" the bass player.

aaaaaaand the washing machine stopped washing with a tub full of water and laundry. at 10 pm, of course. it's the most monday-est monday after a week of vacation e-v-e-r! and i intentionally planned getting home from vacay on saturday so that we'd have sunday to breathe before going back to work.

My honey and I have started playing at open mics. He usually plays bass, I'm on gtr and vox. I'm an ok singer. But most of the songs we do are chosen bc of the interesting bass line and not necessarily in my vocal range. 😆

Starbucks gave me this reusable cup sleeve today. What does the graphics mean? Is this something to do with the world cup? Or the knicks? I would expect a sbux sleeve to be green at least, not black and red. 🤔

I got a blink camera for Christmas & finally set it up. Not to spy on my neighbors or teens walking down the street, but to watch the wildlife in our yard. This is bringing me so much joy! There are so many cats! Mostly well-fed, not-strays. I'm waiting to see what else shows up. Skunks?
