• Fun Stats Edit Another edit with little personalized stats and notes about various things within the scene! I absolutely LOVE this kind of thing and am very happy to have been able to do something for Jin and Suki!

• A Warden's Worth Edit • A lovely edit with the title of their canon/lore. The font itself is inspired from Ghost of Tsushima! I love how it looks as if it could be the title screen of a video game or series!

Jin, who had been gone the entire day prior due to his commission work taking far longer than he originally anticipated, finally returns to their home in Kugane come the following morning. It doesn't take long for him to find his way into their niwa where he had found Suki going about her daily routines.

Visibly happy and relieved by his return, she wastes no time in comforting him and welcoming him home. Depicted is the two sharing a moment of respite and warmth together.

• Suki • Of all her interests and fixations, Alchemy is arguably her deepest passion. Ever since the day Jin introduced the craft to her, she's taken to it as naturally as one breaths. She dreams of one day opening her very own Atelier, preferably with Jin at her side.

Ha! I’m glad you got that feeling, it was kind of the aim :p As is most of the photos I’ve done of them lol. I appreciate you 💕

• Jin• Jin’s weapons of choice are the Katana, Gunblade, and Grimoire. Though, again, he has his own techniques that sets him apart. Think of both his and Suki’s grimoires as an extension of their primary weapon. The idea is they are both very “battlemage” or “warcaster” individuals.

• Suki • Suki’s preferred weapons of choice are a staff and grimoire, though she doesn’t use them in the same way a BLM, WHM, or SMN/SCH would - she’s adapted her own techniques unique to her. She’s also knowledgeable with a katana due to Jin’s tutelage but prefers spellweaving.

After being on the fence for YEARS, I've finally delved into the Atelier series, and WHAT. A. TIME to do so with the announcement of Atelier Yumia. I gushed to a friend about how Suki-coded Yumia seems to be and they gifted me this sketch! Thank you @soluknight.bsky.social! #FFXIV #Art #OC

Done by the amazing, talented, and amazingly talented S0LIN, she even added in a couple of personal touches specific to Suki!

Namely the glowing lace choker around her neck that Jin crafted and gifted to her, she's ALWAYS donning it.

In addition to this, instead of the little bird plush keychain, it's a smol bunny plush, can only wonder who it's likeness takes after~

• Jin • Due to being trained in his family's Way of the blade, he's picked up certain trades like blacksmithing, weaving, and magick. While he is particularly proficient in specific areas in each, he has expanded his knowledge in them over the years to encompass a broader range of crafts.

000

• Suki • When she was younger, she would sew and tailor small things for the other kids in her village's orphanage that she was put in after the attack on her village. Things like gloves, scarfs, small toys or plushies, the likes.

000

• Jin • His favorite time of year is autumn and winter. Having grown up around a more alpine, mountainous locale of Koshu (mainland Hingashi) - he loves the visual change of the environment around him during these later moons.

000

• Suki • Thanks to Jin’s mentorship over the years, she’s far more knowledgeable than most her age. That said, she does have her particular fixations that she excels at - namely alchemy, herbology, weaving, and the arcane arts. She and Jin often spend hours together delving into these things.

000

• Jin • Neither his mother nor father possess golden eyes, nor do neither glow, though Jin's carry both these traits. The deep gold hue and dim glow which can grow more vibrant under certain circumstances, his unique eyes are a mutation, a birth mark, of his heightened capabilities.

000

• Suki • Much like the Xaela have different tribes, who's to say the Raen don't have different clans? Suki hails from the Gekko Clan; a sequestered people who value knowledge and preservation. (No, the gecko tails aren't the only reason their clan is named as such.)

000

• Jin • Jin is a half-breed. Born on the Hingashi mainland to a viera mother and hyuran father, he's a few traits that show this. Notely, he's naturally more broad and built than an average lean, scrappy male viera. In addition, his ears are extremely stunted, though most find it adds charm to him.

000

• Suki • She dyes parts of her hair white to mimic Jin's natural salt 'n pepper. It was one of the first things about him that she found herself fond of. That said, if you bring it up in conversation, she's likely to become flustered and stumble over her words when elaborating.

000

• Jin • Currently the patriarch of his own yakuza syndicate, Jin is taking steps towards forming a more legitimate bureau. Joining the underworld was only a means to an end. Now that he has reached that goal, he’s working towards a way out at any cost in order to keep those close to him safe.

VII. 2/2 • Suki: Tranquil until her village was attacked when she was 8/9, her parents being killed right in front of her. Though, during the restoration, she would meet Jin and the two grow close. They would eventually grow inseparable, becoming something of a ward to him.

🏮Jin n’ Suki🏮 @runeweaver.bsky.social · 28/10/2024

VII. 1/2 • Jin: His childhood was relatively calm and quiet. His father taught him in their family's way of the samurai, as well as his mother teaching him magick and alchemy. Though when he was 21/22, his father was murdered. After exacting revenge, he had set out on his own for his own reasons.

• Just Another Day • It's always a pleasure to work with @lunie-junk.bsky.social - I'm so glad to have gotten another piece from her 💕 Thank you so much again! (Little excerpt in the alt text again) #FFXIV #Art #FFXIVArt #FFXIVOC

• Just Another Day •

Sat in the den of their old machiya, the two snuggle up and enjoy a warm cup of cocoa together. Suki has been practicing her alchemy and brought Jin a new concoction she's brewed. Impressed by her efforts, Jin gives a closer examination as they wake up in the morning.

VI. • This one, they’re on the same wavelength. Work and commissions outside the city, they’ll don more durable gear. When inside the city, it’s Formal/Semi-Formal. When at home or day-off in the city, it’s either semi-formal or warm casual like dusters, sweaters, leggings, slacks, etc.

000

THANK YOUUUU, I LOVE MY MUSES SO MUCH. I’M GLAD YOU DO TOO.

010

V. • Jin: He’s a more stoic, inquisitive, and reserved sort. Being around as long as he has, he’s taken a jaded and cynical view of the world - having a select few close companions. • Suki: She’s more timid and shy. She’s very intelligent and curious as well, though mostly keeps to herself or Jin.

000

IV. • Jin: 123 Years Old (That Vieran blood is thick) • Suki: 24 Years Old

000

III. • Jin: His Eyes. A sign of a peculiar natural mutation within him, they're a deep golden hue and constantly have a dim glow which can become more vivid depending on the situation. • Suki: Her Tail. Arguably her most charming outward feature. It denotes her Gekko Clan heritage.

000

II. • Jin: Viara (Viera/Hyur Half-Breed) | Gunbreaker/Samurai/Black Mage • Suki: Raen Au Ra (Gekko Clan: Personally-written Clan) | Black Mage/Scholar/Samurai

Sure, why not. I'll do a 2-for-1 and answer each question for both Jin and Suki, seeing as I roleplay both pretty evenly. #FFXIVRP #FFXIVOC #FFXIV

• Exhaustion • Another cute little piece I had done by the very talented @luxovum.bsky.social ! Thank you so much again 💕 (Cute little writing in the Alt Text I made to go along with it if anyone cares to read it.) #FFXIV #Art #FFXIVArt #OC

• Exhaustion •

It had been a long day, Jin busied himself with taking on a handful of commissions from Kugane's bounty board, intending to bring in extra gil to keep the two of them comfortable. As the hit its second half and the afternoon thoroughly set in, the viara shambled to their machiya within the port city. He slowly slid open the partition, crossing the threshold, his exhaustion clear to anyone who merely glanced his way.

Suki, having been waiting for him, greets Jin at the door, gently grabbing his hand with both of hers, "Jin! Welcome...home-"

The viara didn't say anything at first, simply grabbing and wrapping himself around her, his head resting against hers with a deflated sigh.

The raen, initially caught off-guard, soon found herself a bit flustered, yet more concerned than anything else. "Hey...are you okay?"

Jin nodded against her, "Mhm...just tired. Stay like this for a minute. Please."

She complied, doing what she can to help him feel better. "Sure, sure..."

• Usagi’s Respite •

The viara had been gone the entire day prior, the hunt commission he had taken drawn out longer than they both suspected. As the morning sun rose over the port city of Kugane, the young raen’s worry only grew as she found him still gone. Finding something to distract her thoughts, she would head to their tsubo-niwa, a small indoor garden situated at the center of the property.

While tending to the various herbs and plants they grew for various alchemical purposes, she gasped at the sudden sensation encompassing her waist. In the next moment, she found herself sat in Jin’s lap, the man resting his head on her shoulder, his exhaustion evident on his features and in his voice as he spoke.

“Mmm…I’m home. Sorry for taking so long, it was…more tedious than I initially thought.”

She relaxed into him as she realized it was him, resting her head against his, “Don’t be sorry, welcome home…are you hurt? Are you alright…?”

Jin, eyes heavy, nodded lazily, “Mhm…doing a bit better now.”
