2 weeks until it's been 8 years of bowsette btw

Rune [kbity] @runemythrea.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

somebody should draw a halo spartan in bowsette's dress. yes, on top of their armor.

Rune [kbity] @runemythrea.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

basically, the thing I use to look at halo infinite models (like the spartan seen previously) has an option to "bake" textures into. colors that resemble what's on the render *but* it doesn't work with eevee rendering, and also I think I set it up wrong before hitting bake so it's doing it on CPU

Rune [kbity] @runemythrea.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

I do, in fact, need to use cycles rendering to bake textures if I wanna do anything more advanced than look at the model 😔

Azura! I've been slowly drawing her over the past 2 4/7 weeks,,, I had bigger plans (some outfits) but if I spend any longer on this specific view I'm never gonna be done with this phase

anyway knowing is half the battle and I still don't know enough to win this battle (making them hold a knife)

Rune [kbity] @runemythrea.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

this render of exactly the same pose at the same angle froze+spiked the ram use on discord for 20 minutes???? let's never use the cycles rendering mode again

messing around with halo models again; finally figured out how to pose the spartans

Rune [kbity] @runemythrea.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

even though it would be easy to, I *will not* replace half of the halo 2 soundtrack with armored core music

000

Rune [kbity] @runemythrea.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

part of me wants to take a stab at entirely redoing the soundtrack with fanmade remixes but there's not enough of those I think.

Rune [kbity] @runemythrea.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

found out a few hours ago that in halo 2 (even the original xbox version!), the vocals in follow (from that one banshee segment) are covered up by weird synth noises, so now I'm gonna have to slice up the soundtrack version to put ingame ...might also do blow me away

paladin wintersbite! scrungled it a bit intentionally for the purposes of posting here (specifically),, I'm kinda just eyeballing and experimenting with how refsheets I've seen look, and what I'd do differently rn,, used some @teranen.bsky.social bases

I’m making a browser extension called Safe Badge to let you know which Twitch streamers have disabled Gen AI training. This is an honor system as there’s no way to verify it. But it’s better than nothing. The extension isn’t finished yet but you can give yourself the badge here: safebadge.ori.mx

A screenshot of the browser extension showing the Safe Badge next to a streamer name. The badge is labelled “Gen AI disabled”. The icon displays as a green circle with a diagonal line through it.
