Earlier this month, I headed to OCAD’s Onsite Gallery for the opening of Returning to Ourselves and Michael Massie: now and then. This year, our government is providing nearly $358 million to the Canada Council for the Arts, supporting artists and arts organizations across the country.

Sunshine Centres for Seniors offers free social and recreational programs that help seniors across Toronto stay active and engaged in their communities. During the summer months, seniors can head to Camp Sunshine on Ward's Island for a wonderful day of summer programming.

While we were there, we visited Curve Lake First Nation and Shki Maajitaawin Gitigaanan (New Beginnings Farm), a hydroponics facility supporting food sovereignty in the community.
