"You're here to watch me rest?" Her lips turn up in distaste before she shakes her head sharply. "And no, I am not 'ticklish'."

"Who permitted you access to my workshop?" There's a note of haughty displeasure that draws into exasperation as she adds, "and why are you here? Again."

The little sentinel seems to stare at him for a long moment before floating away. It drifts around the room, fixing and correcting things here and there. Antiquary remains fast asleep.

She continues her soft sleeping as he does. At some point a small constructor sentinel drifts into the room and begins following him while 'correcting' a few of his changes.

There's a sound that almost sounds like a laugh before it draws into a rousing sigh of more Jagon, only to halt midway. "You—" she starts, almost falling off her chair.

lohatra I was literally saying this to my partner earlier. Like Star Wars Zero Company seems to be doing pretty good, why not Halo? I'm sure with all the books you could put together some kind of RPG too. Hell, I'd play a Forerunner Stardew Valley 😂

lohatra Should also apologise for being absent. Rowing is shifting into head season so training takes up a lot of time. I've also been house hunting, which is starting to progress as I had an offer accepted today ☺️ life's just been a little tiring. Thank you for your patience 🩵

lohatra Yeah, I'm not super hopeful about where they're gonna take it, especially if this new team is being made from scratch. Hopefully they do put out something good, but honestly I think Halo could also do with exploring more genres that aren't just FPS's.

Some think that wishes made on a shooting star will come true. I... I don't know if I can believe, but I want to... I really do. So... I wish you'd come home. [Grand Star Season] won't be the same if you don't.

"A 'thrum'?" She hums, head tilting in thought as fingers absently tap the side of the metal hand she'd been working on. "Something akin to a hive mind, perhaps? Or, a joint repository? That seems more fitting, is it?"

Always? I think you overestimate yourselves. From what I've heard, 'getting around' the Domain's security is unlikely to leave you with an intact mind... Oh... you didn't commit patricide, did you?

Someone should really review the way in which you store and manage your records if lying about a name is all you need to do. The Domain is a near perfect example... It knows everyone. I can't say I really understand causing violent unrest, did your council push something unfavourable?

Is lying about your old name significant...? Oh... so people don't know who you were? Is that it? Is Human record keeping truly that easily circumvented?

"Human tone IS rather difficult. They're a lot more... intense in their communication than I would personally prefer." As do most Forerunners. "Is it the same— you learnt one of their languages all on your own? You didn't have an Ancilla to help you? That's quite impressive!" She -

That sounds... odd. Do you believe it because you want others to believe it too? Why keep a name if it's not yours? Do Humans not change their names?

lohatra Apologies for the delay in replies, it's been a bit of a crazy week and my will to write has taken a bit of a blow recently. I'll try and get to things when I can.

Something registers on the Foundry's sensors. It's the briefest of blips, but it is enough to have Antiquary freeze momentarily. "I checked— Everything said it was empty..."
