Buckle is 99% done (still need to add the 🦂 gem). Rust weathering was done with my sand recipe and liquid rust from dirty down.

I am operating on quite literally a shoe string budget lmao so cheap Paracord it is for marking the hat break 😂 I fear I also misread the instructions on stiffening the felt. You're supposed to do it BEFORE you block 😬 oh well we ball anyway, I have stiffener spray and I pray it works lol.

A friend of mine gave me their foam hat block to use for my hat! I did have to trim it down a lot though (I have a tiny head). The foam is going to be wrapped in plastic wrap and taped up nice and tight so it doesn't get wet from the steam.

I have roto cast one out of resin (the back is convex shaped) I want to also make a solid one out of ultracal just so I have two blank busts for sculpting/casting on and leave the master printed bust alone.

I completely forgot to take photos of patterning this 💀 TLDR I found a London Fog coat I really liked and patterned it from that. I did have to move seam placements on the sleeves, and take the whole thing in a little.

Mockup #2! I need to make a 3rd I think with the adjustments of: adding ease to account for shirt bulk, lowering the waist band a hair (I want them to be mid rise not high waisted), and adjust the pockets in the front. They passed the squat test so there's that. yippee🥳

I lovingly refer to this as my "piss cape" because I had to use my own free range organic "urea" to dissolve the red dye 😂 I then went in and used Dynaflow to touch up and clean up and even out the ombre. I need to go back in and do one more pass over the purple to darken it a little.

Not to be a Debby downer™ but everyday I am reminded why I hate worbla lmao. This project is testing my skills and patience 💀😂 I have to redo the front because as you can see I goofed some of the pieces/shapes (don't work on cosplay when you're sick people)

The sword and sheath were..... Interesting lol I modeled the tolerances too close so I had to sand and like the sheath. I used flocked HTV (it was a process 💀) in the individual pieces before gluing the sheath together.

So for the armor pieces I'm doing a mix of medias: worbla (corset armor), 3D prints (the head piece, neck/chest pieces, and sword/shealth), and foam (shoe armor, gauntlets, bracers and other arm pieces). 3D modeling was done in fusion 360.

The capelet was surprisingly a little bit of a challenge because it has an arm scye / sleeve? And a particular drape/fit, so I started with a circle skirt (calculated with Mood's calculator) and altered from there. I achieved the ombre with airbrushing a base layer of gray and then the red.

The sleeves were a little tricky at first because I started with the "smock sleeve" (or another rectangle) and it wasn't draping correctly. So I pivoted to a flounced sleeve and that was the ticket. Embroidery was drawn in Photoshop and digitized in Cosplay Stitchery from OESD

Next up is the tunic dress! I used the same method I learned for making a traditional smock tunic and just scaled the math up for a dress (it's all rectangles and a keyhole neck opening)

Let's unpack the weird little AI couch. Anyone with an ounce of ability to eye ball yardage can tell you even if this couch existed, it's not enough to make a coat with that many pieces needing to cut out on the grain line. You would easily need 6-10 yards of uncut fabric to make that.
