Drip drop my water on the phone And I am made of mostly water Wearing out my place in life I look up But there's no rainbow.

Mayday Is anyone receiving Mayday Can anybody hear Sing i send my message out Loud and clear Mayday Mayday No one's bringing any flowers Mayday Mayday Seems im flying blind Mayday Mayday I believe we're all going down And you don't come around What the hell we die alone

She calls, I'm so sorry All these thoughts up in my head on sex and death by suicide pour from this book that I just read, Chewing on my knees and ankles Heads up in a cloud of smoke. My baby gives me a silence thick enough that we could choke

Full song ~ Mayday by Planet26. I am made of mostly water. She is setting me to boil I can't tell if this is love or maybe even something more

That said, hats off not just to the bosses. THose kids truly earn those benefits. That place is non-stop hopping, hot and deliciously greasy. And those workers are working.

*editors note - should read renounce the old mans name

000

Fine. But their study only looked at 100 or so kids and was comprised of asking if two drawings could meet each other. Far more research has been done showing that other than cultural myths Toothfairy, Santa, Jesus, kids know what's real by 3-4.

000

#Renounce my name, but locked in this body, what good can it do? Stitches and bolts all they see. My father's shame, his monstrosity. Yet I hope. Hope to find those sympathetic. Those who would see only a man, of his own making My name is Dan Franksten. #vss365 #writingcommunity #halfbadpoetry

Superb writes. Loved the repetition of the first. Great imagery in #2 and the finale gave a great Bradbury vibe.

Sure, but youre not describing the norm. 5 hr a day on public transportation seems bogus. And again, if this is your concern, why wouldn't you champion universal pre-k? You've only offered keep kids home as an alternative, and for many single parents, Thats truly impossible

200

Then it seems you should cheer on the Mayor and universal pre-k, and then lobby like hell for dawn to dusk or even 24/7 facilities.

100

Thats a great question. Be interesting to see, but I can guarantee people will be able to put out. As to expectation, thats a whole different can of worms

000

Championing the Montessori method, which I have seen work brilliantly for 30 years. Whats yours? And how does free preschool weigh in as a negative

200

I already have a degree in it ma'am, so let's say cite your sources.

000

Calling out your 🐎 💩 claims that preschool exists only to "create a monowork force", thay preschool is inappropriate for those under 4 and that children do not discern reality until age 8. None of which you've responded to.

100

And you feel all three should not be in operation?

100

And on the job skills training is NOT the same as intensive study of an educational pedagogy.

100

And you answered my question fully. And as Ive said, you seem to put your opinion over proven science when it comes to the benefits of preschool education.

000

Great. How much of that was in licensed child care facilities. Because thats the topic

100

A while back, but thanks all the same!

010

NY is offering free pre k. You said boo. I disagree and say there's lots of proof that prek has positive outcomes. You say you've been everywhere and your personal, untrained observations outweigh the scientific method. You put on a how dare you make me feel bad stance. Anything else, cuz im done.

100

I don't want any of that ma'am. Nor do I feel obliged to wander your tangents with you. Nor does making yourself a victim prove your point. Not sure why you feel diminished, but again, that's on you.

200

I dont know what that means

000

So, volunteered. Which is fantastic. Sorry you had to work in lousy places. Sad you seem ready to throw the baby out with the bath water.

310

Valuable and needs to be heard, but not statistically relevant. And, dont try to guilt trip me, ma'am. I've worked with plenty of poor single parents, moms and dads. Worked with rich married folks too. My experience was preschools good for all kids. What preschools have you actually worked at?

300

Maam, you have no research, and I welcome you to show me a refutation of Montessoris effectiveness.

Makes no difference what island. The point is you put out a claim that early education is inappropriate with no proof other than your feels to back it. Curiois as to which preschools have you worked at and what is your early educational background?

000

So, no quantifiable data. And, while I appreciate your conviction, conjecture and opinion, especially from someone so clearly prebiased, is not research. My research comes from a longitudinal study of thousands of children of all types What, exactly, was the cohort you are using?

I have ma'am, and spent 25 years teaching a one room preschool on a small island, so I know plenty about rural as well. And the answer is funding, education and oversight, because the Proven outcomes are well worth the investment. Again, love to see data from your travels to "every forgotten place"

100

Oh and p.p.s ive got more than 100 years of research showing the benefits of enrolling to a quality program at 2.5 - 3 years. Please cite sources for your claims about need for home care til 4 and inability to distinguish fantasy until 8.

Wow. Good thing Mamdani is increasing funds and oversight to them isnt it? p.s. interesting fact. Montessori started her first program in perhaps the poorest part of Rome.

330

Please make sure to include Montessori schools in your plans
