brothership ending spoilers in alt

do you guys ever think about the Very end of the game where like. mario and luigi go back to mushroom kingdom and then bowser attacks again and it’s all back to normal but then it pans to a uni tree sapling with sprite bulbs coming out of it. i think of it and cry because like.
AUGH the music in that part is typical mario. like the trumpets and all that. but then when it pans to the sapling it brings back the island-y accordion-like thing we’ve been hearing all game.
it’s just UGH it’s such an emotional reminder that concordia is with these guys forever, emotionally AND now physically with the sapling. like their experiences there are always going to be living in their memory. even when everything is back to normal concordia’s influence is still there and only just beginning
IT MAKES ME SO FUCKING SAD I LOVE THIS GAME CONCORDIA I MISS YOU I HAVENT FELT SUCH AN INTENSE SADNESS SINCE I BEAT ORIGAMI KING
