Never. I don’t merge the layers at any point.

𝔯𝔲𝔪𝔠𝔬𝔬𝔯𝔞 @rumcoora.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Since my webcomic is monochrome, I do 1 layer for linework and blacks, one for skin tone, one for medium shading and one for dark shading. I erase to make highlights.

𝔯𝔲𝔪𝔠𝔬𝔬𝔯𝔞 @rumcoora.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Thank you. I use about 4 layers usually for the characters and more for the backgrounds as needed.

I've done both, actually. Sometimes it seems fine when I'm focusing on a panel but then doesn't flow with the page.I should watch a video or something from someone who knows what their doing.

The great thing about digital speech bubbles is that it’s so easy to fix later. I’m just a beginner at this so it’s a learning process.

𝔯𝔲𝔪𝔠𝔬𝔬𝔯𝔞 @rumcoora.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Mostly dialogue, if it seems too wordy or i had someone repeating something already established. I tend to catch those as I’m planning the speech bubbles.

The entire first story arc was plotted and scripted in advance. Of course, I made a few edits when I’m actually drawing it, but the storyline is the same.

No spoilers but, it’s leading up to something soon.

I finally got around to setting up Launchbox on my living room pc. I spent way too much time playing "Champions of Norrath", one of my favegames on PS2 and the 1st game I ever played online co-op. I've been an Elf Enjoyer for a long time. #playstation2 #everquest #fantasy
