Exorcizing this proof of concept from my brain so I can go do literally anything else. Ren'py is a good tester for my impulses of 'i need to just slap something together in a specific format to visualize it properly'

hums...Setekh is fun to rotate because the m'wt itself is a region named for death and he alone of the principal characters in this mess is intensely underworld coded; isolated void travel, centipede/venomous creature motifs (underworld guardians!), even his colors being described as 'bone white'

Setekh is so funny to think about because he has so many facets of interpretation and all of them just point to "he's deeply unwell about zahndrekh/obyron/both of them simultaneously" like a compass needle magnetizing north

Necrontyr-era Setekh watching Zahndrekh and Obyron interact and having really disquieting messy emotions about it. One of his skolopendra is in his lap begging for pets.

i think it'd be really funny if Setekh and Zahndrekh post doahht became kind of a nightmare dynamic and Obryon's like "Um." because the reason Zahndrekh has started highkey/lowkey bullying him is because Setekh hurt Obyron

1st panel: Zahndrekh petting Setekh's cheek and telling him that he spared him/wants him to live because Setekh hates it.
"I want you to live because you hate it, dear Setekh. Isn't it a most fitting punishment?"

#swordtember COMEDY + TRAGEDY "One believes in sombre release, the other in freewheeling, slaughter-filled joy. Though they may pass through the hands of any number of wielders, in the end they strive to new heights only so that they may face each other and prove the other wrong."

Two swords, one orange and serrated, one blue and straight-edged. Both swords look as if they have faces matching their specific prompts (comedy and tragedy) on the hilt.

Their personifications have masks matching the sword hilts and have their blades at each other's throats.

The Ironclad from Slay the Spire 1/2, being cut open by Vakuu (the four eyed demon in the background) with his own sword. #ultrakill stuff, some new, some old. I end up using a lot of yellow and red for these haha Some spoilers for Fraud, since the last one especially references something that happens in 8-2.

Hell represented by an angelic-looking demon with fork in hand, dipping a seemingly unconscious/helpless V1. Colour palette is a reference to the song Butcher Vanity.

V1 curled up in a fetal position while roots/veins branch out from its body, as if it was in a tree or root system that was growing around it. Reference to the 'FEED US WE WILL GROW' message in level 7-3, placing V1 as analogous to the suicide trees that need blood to 'bloom'.

V1 motionless but conscious, watched by Hell's eye. Two appendages hold up a control bar like one would use to control a puppet or marionette, with the strings tied around V1's elbows, neck, and ankles. A reference to 8-2.
