The frog is snugly positioned between the bright green upright club of the spadix and the striated green and pale green inner wall of the spathe. The arch of the spathe is just visible at the top of the picture and is mottled dark brown with flecks of bright green. The blurred background infers fallen leaves on a woodland floor.
