I understand all that. They can put two discs in a box, or they can invent a new physical media that cna hold more data. Whatever it is, Nintendo can fit their entire game on their cartirdges, Sony can figure it out. I'm not cutting them slack, here. If the future is all digital, then I'll be on PC.

Of course none of that can truly tell you if you'd ENJOY the game. You'll have to play it for that. But sales can point toward the game being good, could be marketing landed well, could be a lot of "purchases" were through PSN/XBGP etc. But combined with other metrics it can paint a bigger picture.

Sales don't tell the WHOLE story, but it is part of the story. As a consumer, if you're trying to determine qhether or not a game is good, there are several metrics you can use to do so. Watch trailer, play demo, check reviews, listen to trusted sources/word of mouth, and yes check sales. 1/2

Dear @capcomusa.com, I ❤️ this game, but please for the love of God, add an option to turn off Gauntlet Lady saying the same thing every time it happens. Hearing her tell me to shoot the rift with the bow 12 times per rift is wildly annoying and downright distracting while fighting. #Onimusha

I mean, sure we're only calling out Sony directly, but the whole industry can see the backlash. If they want to follow suit and stop physical game releases, then they'll have to deal with it too.
