Ola Rexroat Oglala-Lakota Was the only Native American woman to serve with the Women Airforce Service Pilots WWII. She flew aircraft that towed targets for aerial gunners practice. She survived. Awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 2009

Oh yes we did - in our tiny, deep red Wyoming town, 11 people and 1 good dog rallied on Memorial Day to remember those who died fighting fascism - our 14th rally of the year. The reception was surprisingly positive. We rallied early and wrapped up promptly so we could attend local ceremonies.
