Ahh, hey everyone, I've finally made some time to finish up reworking my two drawings of Rowan in this new style I'm practicing with the, you know, colored outlines that Ponies seem to have. New art is over at the right side! #mlp #mlpfim #pony #rowan #horse #horsecock #cute #male

Hey everyone, I've renamed "Rubsy Smoketail" to "Rowan Ardency"! A name change was in plan *years* since I made the character, but I couldn't think of a better "pony name". Getting a little jealous of many cute, creative or amazing pony names I've seen, I spent a few hours and came up with this!

Due to all the annoying performance drops and crashes I get from playing MH Wilds, I can't reasonably keep playing that game anymore. I'm just quitting for a month until Capcom fixes their fucking shit, if they ever do. If the game is bad, then it's bad. No two ways about it.

RubisDrake ❤️🖤🔞 @rubisdrake.bsky.social · 02/03/2025

More evidence that the game's performance is bad when someone like fucking Digital Foundry does a video on it. youtu.be/0yhacyXcizA #capcom #mhwilds #gaming #monhun #pcgaming

If you are also experiencing problems on a mid-range PC playing MH Wilds, then you gotta watch and study this video - youtu.be/qAV8TqtNZSg They are using RE Engine, not World's engine, which is not optimized for open world games. Getting consistent frame rates has been a problem. #mhwilds #gaming

I'm finally been ditching GIMP 2.10, and using GIMP 2.99.19 Flatpak nightly, otherwise known as 3.0 RC1. Because guess what, I can't wait any longer! This is going to be big. It's amazing. Not as buggy as I thought. This is really a Photoshop killer. I'm serious. It's a big fucking deal for Linux.

Sorry guys, I've been so busy with stuff for October, that I just haven't been sitting down to draw stuff! And now spooky month is almost over. :c I also can't wait to show something interesting I've been working on on my stream soon... :3c

RubisDrake ❤️🖤🔞 @rubisdrake.bsky.social · 23/08/2024

I'm kind of bored and I want to draw. If anyone--especially furs--out there, want to do an art trade, please reply or ask to DM with your work or ref you wanna use. I can draw said character solo, OR with Rubis, or Rubimander. NSFW preferred. <3 #furryart #arttrade #trade #art #nsfw

Hey Bluesky, Can you fix the fucking problem where when I open an image, and then close out of it, it can just scrolls around randomly, usually back to the top of my tab of feeds? It's little things like that which just make the user experience not that great. #rant

In regards to the owner of Kiwi Farms. I hope that white alt-right n*ggerf*ggot seriously gets what he deserves: Jail time. He is cancerous and an absolute menace to society. Not going to stop the rest of the Kiwi Farms assholes from existing, but maybe this will knock a good peg down at least.

Should I post more older art here to be an attention whor--uh... get more noticed? Even after making sure to use the "furrytag" hashtag, I have single digit followers here. So... wtf? 🤷‍♂️ Guess it doesn't help that I never used Twitter, nor have a huge following.

Just a reminder that if you're going to accept DMs from people, please for the love of God do NOT set it to followers only. 👉 Not everybody who wants to DM you wants to follow your account. You have the ability to self-censor, block, and not reply to DMs, and not fall for bots/scam links. #psa

Kind of wondering if I should repost or just fave posts and comment. Thing is, I'm not much of a social media person. I grew up with the Internet before those times! I guess I just want this place to be where I post art and spout thoughts, and make some new fur friends?

000

RubisDrake ❤️🖤🔞 @rubisdrake.bsky.social · 23/05/2024

I have my Bluesky DMs open to anyone! Check it out in the "Chat" sidebar. But just know that of course I am not obligated to respond to everyone and everything. I'd be *most* interested in discussing art trades. If anyone wants to RP with my characters, ask for my F-list instead. <3

Rubimander in 3D Part 4: Retop almost finished. In about 10 hours, I have something that I think is good enough? I made the toenails a separate mesh now. Not the best, but it's my first time doing this shit. This is definitely a hassle, but I was able to get the mesh down to 4.5k tris (faces).

Rubimander in 3D Part 3: Getting ready for retop. Marked down common body shape edge loops. This is where my OCD comes into play, trying to avoid any triangles, n-gons, and not have too many N-poles and E-poles, or weird poles over 5. Don't worry about what those are. I'm learnding. :3c

Rubimander in 3D Part 2: Just following someone's tutorial of doing a "block out" process. I'm trying to turn 2D references into 3D, and I know it's not perfect, but we finally have something! I combine the objects and use the sculpt tool to detail and clean everything up. Took about 3 hours.

Rubimander in 3D Part 1: Hey everyone, in case you're all wondering what I've been doing the past week or so, I'm trying to make a VRChat model of Rubimander, or for posing in Blender! This is the first step, just meticulously measuring pixels and doing front, side, and back view sketches.
