Starting with simple black and white/ greyscale thumbnails then doing a colour test that would lead into a final piece. It's not my favourite piece of the 6 weeks but I think the fact I can make something that resembles a landscape at all is a massive achievement.

Made this lino as a gift for my D&D group - finally trying to carve in bigger sizes

Linoprint in black against a cream washi paper. 3 Dragons with interlaced tails look towards the skeleton of a 4th dragon.

2nd to last Gouache Landscape class today. Love what I came up with. Today was all about "glazing". Unlike large water washes of water colours this was glazing using a dry brush and hints of other colours to add more warmth or cold into a scene. Thats why it's quite messy.

Went to my first lesson of a Gouache Landscape painting course and have come out with these cute value paintings. It was a challenge simplifying a coloured photograph into its pure dark and light areas. Very fun tho!

Just started learning lino cutting, last night I made our first ex libris

Illustration of three dogs sleeping entangled, surrounded by a frame and the words "ex libris de" and the letters "L&Z" mirrored, carved on a 7.5 x 7.5cm piece of linoleum that was dyed pink. The carving tool sits on its left.

Same illustration as the previous photo, now printed and mirrored on a blank space of a book. In the background you can see one of the sleeping dogs that was depicted in the illustration.
