okay it turns out the on screen keyboard and the touch keyboard are two different things (at least on windows 8) the onscreen keyboard has more keys but can only be toggled in settings while the touch keyboard can be toggled from the task bar but it has less keys.

Realy proud of this one. One of my friends helped me with the cursive because I did NOT absorb any of that knowledge from 3rd grade.
