If you were to tell me during my first time watching #buffy and #angel that Wes would become one of my favourite characters not just in Buffy and Angel but one of my favourite fictional characters in general I would’ve probably laughed at you

3 years ago today was the last day I would spend with my Dad before he sadly passed away. I never know what to say or how to say it. My love for him and the time we had grows stronger with every passing day and I can’t tell him about it. I never stop thinking about him, always carrying him with me

Whether it be biological family or found family, tell them what they have meant to you and always will mean to you.

The pain and loss I feel every day whether it be a big or small moments or just looking at something for too long, is worth it, just to remember the love that I had and always will have for him. The best dad in the multiverse. Hug your family this new years, tell them you love them and always have

I remember the last conversations we had about the lessons he wanted to teach me and the last time he called me handsome. Every moment we shared. I remember the love and respect he had for me and my family. I remember his happiness, his sadness, his fears and joy. I carry them with me. Always.

I remember his cooking, the conversations where I would ramble to him about my fixations, our love of similar music, him dancing and singing to Tom Jones, his loud snoring, the funniest sleep talking I will ever hear, his crazy haircuts, his daring nature and confidence

I remember leaving him a note when he went to the hospital for COVID thinking I’d never see him again, I remember some of our first Christmases and our last Christmas, I remember him gleefully watching sports, I remember him sitting in the garden or watching the news at 2am

I remember our movie nights and arguing over what to watch, I remember his sense of humour, I remember helping him whenever he fell over or needed someone to put on his socks, I remember checking on him every night I could, I remember rearranging the Christmas tree with him

Don’t use AI voices in fan audio spaces or audio spaces in general, it’s really disappointing to see and it’s completely unacceptable. If you are taking the voices of other fan creators as well, I mean you just have to know how wrong and just completely unethical that is…

Extremely proud of the two films I worked on during my second year at uni! I highly recommend checking out @dressingroomfilm and @awellbreadwomanfilm on Instagram! I was sound editor when it came to post on A Well Bread Woman and 1st AD on Dressing Room. Well worth checking them out

I also worked on a 60 second horror film which I directed alongside two other directors. I also starred in it and had a great time, went method and started eating grass. Mary’s Room was a joy to work on.

Another project I worked on this year as a Sound Recordist/Operator was a film put together for the 48 hour film project in Brighton called Henry’s Channel. An incredibly meaningful film that was a joy to work on. I recommend following @onbright.productions on Instagram

This is genuinely horrific, it’s made me feel a bit ill and speechless. Not what I wanted to see while scrolling through YouTube and I hate that videos like this are gonna appear more often. A sickening “tribute”

This is a queer & trans story, think of Heartstopper crossed with All of Us Strangers. The book Cornflower Blue is yet to be released, but you may know Poe’s other work, like 'How To Be Autistic', and 'Conversations With Monsters: On Morality, Creativity, And Neurodivergent Survival'

🚨 COVER REVEAL 🚨 In fact, do you know what I'd call it? I'd call it a genesis. Specifically, the Genesis of the Cybermen: bgfn.sh/L05tGen

The cover of Genesis of the Cybermen, with art by Sean Longmore. Two Mondasian Cybermen stand in the foreground, while the Fifth Doctor behind them looks shaken. Behind them is an old castle, while the red background is littered with ships and code.

So recently as my rent-paying job, I had a full-time job in construction. I just got unexpectedly made redundant; worrying about rent. Okay for short term, long term not so much. If anyone needs a freelance writer, actor/editor/producer HELLO, as I try & scramble my life together and job search! 😅
