I think LLMs just show that language and grammar is so well structured that you can have a conversation without understanding the meaning of any word if you follow the rules. Anyone claiming an LLM is thinking should go back to school to learn grammar and probability other languages for comparison

I disagree. I think Labour got into this because they're transphobic. They got into power when the Tories had laid out a multi-prong attack on trans people and labour just pushed into it. This wasn't about electability or culture wars, they did this because they wanted to eradicate trans people.
