Scheduled a hysterectomy to yeet the cancer into the sun! But it's the day before Halloween, and I figured I might be recovering from surgery then, so I put together a simple Giratina gijinka outfit. My LGS is doing bonus points for a weekly event if you come in costume, and I am stubborn :I

Losing means room to grow and a pretty good idea of what direction it should be headed in. It might be too mature for a 23-year-old, maybe? But her whole arc is about applying that need for improvement to things outside of what's immediately interesting to her

I felt the same as a kid, and as an adult, hanging out with friends was usually more important than winning. As a more mature adult, losing's almost better than winning, because I can learn something from it (at least in theory, but that's a rant for never) and that's the protag's mindset :V

The more I keep up with current events, the more I'm glad I named the main party in my project "Professional Losers." I'll never find the post again, but I read something like, "It was always more fun just playing sports as kid when we weren't worried about winning" and I thought about it a lot.

Confirmed endometrial cancer today, but it's early, so it's probably treatable. Hysterectomy still definitely on the table, and major surgery recovery would suck. Either way, I have a weird motivation for my project. Starting scripting while my partner helps with some technical stuff :V

@warframe.com A fellow Tenno stole my skin; I don't think this is how Transference is supposed to work for us. (But no like we have no idea how we managed a bug where both our frames got stunned and he was running around my orbiter as my drifter with an invisible gun.)

I'm like 5 whole monkies deep with how many paws seem to curl for me. They found cancer in my uterus, and istg if this leads to a hysterectomy and double mastectomy it's gonna be the most cursed possible way to deal with some of my crippling dysphoria :^)

Sold a bunch of cardboard at Gen Con to cover the cost of the trip (nearly everything was paid for already, at least) but I'm still dangerously low on funds. I don't regret spending so much helping people and making sure they're safe and happy, I'm just tired :/

There's only so much "suffering for your art" that's useful before it just drains you entirely. I want to live long and comfortably enough to actually be able to finish my project, but I'm soft and sentimental and want to help others when I can. I assume I'll get help back when I need it.

So many people, even near-strangers, tell me that things will work out because I genuinely love other people and refuse to be bitter. I've had people tell me it was refreshing to talk because it gave them some sort of hope. I feel stupid for believing them at this point. I want things to be better.

I love having an autistic meltdown augmented with a flashback episode and everyone winds up thinking I'm a dick because I'm trying to get clarification about two conflicting sets of rules and starting to bug out because no one understands me.
