A Raven is feasting on what appears to be a smaller songbird, a flycatcher or warbler perhaps, in an uncommon (for me anyway) display of predation.
Maybe is just scavenging.

A bluff top trail leads out to the shoreline through a mixture of new green grass, and the golden dead twigs from the last season.
