Its like every game has things with similar information, Skill, Plant, Food. You can keep the info in a bunch of .tres files and edit in the editor and point to in arrays/maps. So a Recipe might have an array of Food and you can drag and drop your mushrooms into the soup array

Well this is just a simple example, really each item ends up with a lot so yes its a sort of a configuration, you can include chopped_model and cooked_model for ex. Do you use an autoload for public constants like Constants.Foodtype.MUSHROOM?

Fuck off. If anything is "millennial", it's those cool transparent colors our iMacs, Gameboys, and Tamagotchis came in. No fucking millennial likes the house flipper grey. Call it a millennial paint job when I can see through the exterior of a car because it's Glacier Purple like my GBA.

Giant Hedgehog wandered in, very cute. I managed to trap her and train her, give her a name. A dwarf crafted a statue in her image. She reverted to a wild state and escaped but just hung around in the base. When I wasn't looking someone hunted her! I used her bones used to make an instrument

Temple in the video game Dwarf Fortress. There is a platinum statue of a giant hedgehog and a gong-like instrument, with "7 triangles made of giant hedgehog bone".

I feel that way about art. When I was doing a degree in CS I would think about making games all the time but trying it now i am doing something creative for the first time in my life and its been really eye opening but a very uphill battle! Wish I had more artsy friends when I was younger

I got a Canon T7 (bc there was a used one available) that came with a kit lens. Doesn't do very small things like bugs super well or long distance but really good for everything in between. www.inaturalist.org/observations...
