Aaand closed! This will probably be the last round of art requests I'll do before I set up comms!

RTaru @rtaru.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Hiiii opening requests again!!! I'll take only 5 this time and only here! (23 was a bit of an overkill...) I'll take the first 5 requests from different people in replies, can be anyone! I'm open to try and learn new things and new fandoms so you can go wild with ideas as I allowed previously!

Concluding the entire thread I made a moment ago, I'll just post more art even if it's not as good and talk about it more. It'll be pretty much like a reset. I won't set any high standards for myself and just post what I do the way it is! There's no shame in that even if it isn't good art

I might go through my sketchbook, the school doodle notebooks and my art folder sometime and show some of the art from there

RTaru @rtaru.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Maybe I should go back to showing just raw taru art. I used to with every bigger drawing post the entire process and each layer of sketches for it and that'd be just good for people to see and for me to look back on

Started drawing traditionally more! I don't have much to show but here's some drawings. Finding out how to create colors by mixing them and getting to put some color theory into it has been super fun. I made Pico's pants' color by mixing orange with a bit of blue

I forgot I don't have to draw everything perfectly, and I guess that mindset kept me from drawing a little #zato

At some point I gotta learn that going into drawing something I suck at without any warm up, reference or breaking things down into simpler shapes is not the right move and will only make me mad at my muscle memory trying to help when I'm brute forcing the art until I get it right

I've had it for a while already but thank you all for 300 follows! I was gonna do something like a party, the same way I did it before once but I don't know, I just don't think I have the time or energy for that. It makes me the happiest knowing that people wanna stick around to see my stuff

Here's something I've been working on

250

RTaru @rtaru.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Maybe it's just because I haven't drawn in a while but I might need to try playing around with the way I draw because it's gotten to the point where drawing on mouse feels better than drawing on a tablet

If you own Minecraft and would like to play. I made a Mewgenics themed Minecraft server! It's just for fun and you don't even need to know the game to play! The Minecraft server starts on 23rd July, 8pm CEST. But you can join the discord server already and get whitelisted! discord.gg/bnAm8ECugR

The discord server is pretty much ready, I'm just waiting until I set all the plugins up on the server the way I'd like them to be, then restart the world until I get a seed with where the spawn is not in the middle of badlands and then I'll post an invite! The server will start on 23rd, or 24th!

Finally finished the datapack, got to start configurating everything on the server and suddenly microsoft servers are down...............

RTaru @rtaru.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

Had to take a bit of a break from working on it and then I started art requests after it so I didn't do much work for a while. Buuut I did just finish making the last spells I wanted to have for now. I'll move onto setting up the server soon finally

To not keep the characters from ever seeing the light of day. I am going to share their designs and say more or less stuff about them in a thread here!

After some thinking I decided that I'll probablyy for now just cancel the planned comic I was working on for Extranimate. I definitely got overambitious with it. A lot of the planning/storyboarding was done during my free time in school which took way less effort than finalizing everything to post!

RTaru @rtaru.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

I'm closing requests! Anyone who requested anything will get their drawing, I just won't take any new ones!

160

RTaru @rtaru.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

Saved and closed my drawing to finish for later and accidentally merged the reference image with the main layer before saving..

I might focus some of my work on other art requests I got, so if you don't see them being posted here for a while it means that I'm probably doing other ones! I have a total amount of 14 requests to go at the moment and I don't wanna rush them so I might take a while!
