Animal welfare is a priority for me.
I was pleased to attend a recent RSPCA event to discuss the new animal welfare strategy.
Ahead of its release, I raised concerns about rising vet costs, farming practices, fish welfare and wildlife crime, and the need for these issues to be properly addressed.
