I sent this to my mom. I’ll forgive her for mis-naming the Levittown Shop-A-Rama:

A text message that reads:
Sad. This was paradise compared to the Levittown shopping center. You were almost born there. It was a week past your due date and you seemed in no hurry in arriving, so I went to Bamburgers to do some Christmas shipping. Shortly after getting there I started having severe cramps and started to panic. I found a bench to sit and figure out what to do. The pain subsided and I finished shopping. You finally arrived a week later.

There is something so special about the moment this photo captured: six years ago, @thatgalen.bsky.social brought Jay (to his left in both pictures) onto the capo stand and that gesture of sharing inspired him to eventually become the permanent fixture on the stand that he is today.
