Really important story. When my BIL was incarcerated the calls cost a lot the first minute and then got cheaper in the subsequent minutes. BUT the connection would always drop in the first minute so he’d call back and we’d have to keep paying the highest rate over and over again. A total scam.

A stop loss on them would be the funniest thing! My husband got stop lossed for 8 years. By the time it was lifted he was almost at 20. Stop loss changed the entire course of both of our lives. I absolutely wish it on our newest LTCs. 🤣

The important thing to remember with Hegseth is that absolutely everyone told Trump he was unqualified and ill-suited to the job but Trump picked him anyway, and every Republican senator except McConnell, Murkowski and Collins voted to confirm him. Every Democrat voted against him.
