I wish to actually practice the basic, fundamental things about art, but I've got such weird mental blockade about it Art has always been my safe space, while studying is connected with lots of stress (to me at least). Feeling like it will "taint" my sanctuary if both combine

Best ideas pop always when doing something mundane, repetitive. Our brain has time to process art and stories we pumped into it before, then connect it into something we plan on doing or we are thinking about That's how the story breakthroughs for my OCs always "flashed" me in the middle of the day

people might think creating OC lore involves a lot of thinking & planning, but in my personal experience, OC development is more like a divine vision from a god slamming you over the head with a mallet while ur doing the fuckin dishes or folding laundry

Baptism by the Fallen Landscape Order green and red my beloved (also sneaky lore implementing in description, why not) #oc #ocart #art #bleach

A bit of lore!
My original character Aidan with his arms locked in a painful position, stripped of his firefighter jacket. A river of dark, heavy blood flows over his body, however the circumstance the man found himself in doesn't reflect in his expression. Instead, a sense of solemn understanding and enlightenment radiates from his face. Aidan at last has found what the demon is made of.
