We did it! We took down the last two slugs! Wow, I absolutely though we were dead. Spell slots basically gone, Focus Points all spent. Amazing. I can't believe we did it. Amazing.

Cleric took down another slug with Retributive Strike, but it was in response to a slug critting our Commander. Fortunately he had some THP from my nonsense and he has Shield Block, but he still took a big hit.

Most of the slugs have cross the salt line, so I'm now encouraging our party to switch sides. The slugs take damage every time they cross it, so it's free damage and we're eating their Actions to chase us.

Our Commander's favorite trick is Slip and Sizzle, but the slugs are all too big for him to Trip. So instead, he's having our Cleric's mount do it. AND IT WORKED

In addition to running us over, the slugs can apparently spit acid at us. One just hit me with its... foot? Pseudopod? Dunno. It crit me and I'm at 10 hp.

Courageous Anthem is up, Haste on our Commander. He used an item to cast Iron Rain. It rains knives, targets take damage, persistent bleed, and difficult terrain for 1 minute. Absolutely baller spell, and every slug failed the save.

The slugs deal persistent acid damage. I got lucky and rolled resistance to acid with my Proteankin feat, and I have just enough resistance that it can't hurt me. Of course, they can still crush me into pulp. But at least I won't melt?

We're down to just 3 of our 6 players tonight, but apparently we're going to fight these slugs anyway. Me, our Cleric,and our Commander. So i have two bodies between me and the problems, and I imagine slugs aren't great at Will saves. We should be okay.
