Tatum is also massive. His listed measurables are laughable. He’s bigger than Bam.

Tatum at the 3 or 4 is immaterial. Those guys are interchangeable and he’s your best rebounder. Hauser also plays best paired with Tatum (everyone does, but he’s the most athletically limited) Burying Hugo for Harper would be criminal in my opinion.

How would you do it? I like PP off the bench with Mitch.

I would bet money that’s the starting 5 PP, Mitch, Hugo, Scheierman round out the top 9. Conley, Garza and Walsh will get minutes.

Fine stance. But he’s not some albatross or problem. Hes a good player on a fair contract. Hes plug and play on 30 rosters and his contract isn’t a problem.

He’s properly valued. His contract is not at all seen as a negative. You can dislike him, but 5% of the cap for a top 8 player on a title team is exceptional value.

I disagree. Vuch breaking his finger is shit luck. That’s a process oriented move that you make every time. They needed a more reliable offensive center than Queta and Garza. They went and got one. It didn’t work.

I think we’ve reached the point where having 2 supermax players who overlap too much is a problem, but maybe only while they avoid the tax. If you have to avoid the tax to build a winner, and you can’t win with the supermax players you have, what are you? There’s multiple right ways to answer.

If the goal is keeping the Js and White: I’d add KP now in a 2/$30m and Sexton or Simons (more speed and off the bounce juice). Other options between now and the deadline might include Hauser out and players like Wendell Carter being an apron squeeze….

My preference is keeping JB and adding 5s with the $ (wanted Beef Stew & KP) but if he’s traded my ideal return would be Clingan, Jrue and picks from Portland.
