Not only is this wrong, but in 2026 it’s THE most BORING, lazy, stale argument one can make. They’ve been making this argument since before Norman Rockwell. It’s over, dude. No one cares.

Like when I’m doing dishes, I’m thinking about work, but it’s the concepts of the work and problem solving, not “Remember, I have to do A,B and C”

It recently came to my attention that almost everyone in my life has a constant internal dialogue going on in their head? And for me it’s just concepts up there, not words. I assume I’m in the minority here?

There seems to be an allotment of traditional art 'slots' for certain UBs, which varies from IP to IP. I am unsure of the internal workings, but there is no blanket traditional art ban over all of UB anymore. This has been a change that has happened over time, as contracts have changed.

Having read Project Hail Mary to my son (I know he’s almost a teenager, but I really wanted to act out all the voices), seeing it in the theater and discussing the book/movie differences afterward was the most fun I’ve had in a long time.

Any resemblance to real world people is unintentional :) I was just trying to match the previous art of the two characters, and even hired two models for the reference. I totally see the resemblance though, you folks are correct.

It's wild that when I was a kid there were just things you wondered about but would never get the answer to. Just mysteries upon mysteries about the world around you, and you just had to sit with it. Tech was a mistake.
