Here we are at day 10 of #pleinairpril and I made an acrylic painting from my back patio looking up and seeing the stars 🥰 This will be my last PleinAirpril painting for the month, but I'm inspired to work on some other concepts and I can't wait to share that with others 😁 Enjoy! #night #stars

Day 7 of #pleinairpril and I drew a sparrow that frequents the house. I named him Bill, and he's a very buff sparrow. Compared to the other males, he's quite big, and he likes to nest right up in the gutters of the house. I hope everyone likes it 😊 #bird #sparrow #traditionalart

Day 6 of #pleinairpril and I painted the pine tree out in my front yard. That tree was planted 10 years ago and I'm amazed with how big it's become. I wonder how much bigger it'll be in the following years. Also I had to paint the cute sparrow right beneath the tree 🥰 #pinetree #tree

I was experimenting and stylizing with how I wanted to draw this tree, and despite the time it took to draw this, I do love how it turned out~ 💖

Day 5 of #pleinairpril and I painted the full moon from the other night 🥰 it was so cool to see it poke right in between some clouds and glow so beautifully. Just goes to show that even in darkness, there is a light shining 🌕 Also, I hope everyone has a Happy Easter! 🐣 #moon #clouds

I painted the full moon from the other night and I just loved how it peaked right in between some clouds and formed the outline among the clouds 🥰 it was beautiful to see~

I used acrylic markers and a brush to get those puffy outlines of the clouds, and I used some acrylic gel pens to help add to the outlines after blending 🌕😊

Day 4 of #pleinairpril and here's my painting of a female bluebird that sat on the gutter of the house. The females are more brown while the males are all blue to attract the attention of mates. Either way, I thought she looked beautiful up there 🥰 Enjoy! #bluebird #bird #traditonalart

I painted a female western bluebird sitting on the gutter of the house. Her long black beak is a defining trait that tells me she is no common sparrow.

I painted with acrylic markers and used a paintbrush to help blend the colors. I think I'll use a paintbrush in addition to the acrylic markers to help with blending because I really love how this picture looks 😍

It's day 3 of #pleinairpril and I tried to paint a sunset in this picture 😊 I get to see some pretty sunsets from time to time and the whispy clouds were a bit of a challenge to create with dry on dry techniques. Hope everyone likes it 💖 #sunset #traditionalart #painting

I wanted to participate in #pleinairpril this year and the theme is "Harmony in Contrast". You just paint once a day and interpret the theme how you like while challenging yourself with a medium you aren't used to. So I painted a night sky right before dawn that I remember seeing 💖 enjoy!

Happy New Year! My plans for my comic this year is to debut in Fall of 2026, and I want to schedule in more time to draw colored illustrations of my characters 🥰 I miss drawing finished illustrations~

Here's the final 4 pics of the short comic. I hope everyone's Fall and Winter are pleasant~

I reminisce on what happened this summer, "A lot happened... I had to care for 2 old horses and manage my mother's garden while she was away for 3 months. Meanwhile, there was a shooting at my work, I was involved in a civil suit, and a litigant with an Order of Protection granted against them,...tracked down where I lived."

Here's a classic meme of a group of people trying to kill each other while I turn my head towards the commotion, and then turn back to face the camera while a nuke flies into the crowd, exploding them upon impact, while I continue to state, "And that doesn't include all the public and economical crap that happened this year!"

Here, I pull on a rope and a banner flips down showing the new Debut Date will be Fall 2026, as I state, "So, I'm gonna push back the debut date of Chapter 1 to 2026. I will upload something for Halloween this year. The manga will come next year."

I then smile, holding up a large heart that says "Thank You!" As I express my gratitude to people, saying, "I do want to thank everyone for your patience and kindness during my comic-making journey. The encouragement and love did help me through some scary situations this summer and I will repay that support as I continue to make more art and comics for you all!"

There's been a Change of Plans, everyone! I'm gonna delay my manga's debut date to Fall of 2026. Here's a short comic explaining a bit of why this summer wasn't ideal for me, and that I'll put up a small artwork for Halloween instead. Thank you everyone for your patience and kindness! ❤️🌟

I take off the plaid headband I had on for cleaning to hold my hair back while declaring, "Ok, I'm just gonna rip the bandaid right off!............ I have to push back the debut date."

I then take off the cleaning apron while angrily stating, "I'm not happy about it. This past summer wasn't ideal!"

I grumpily crossed my arms while pouting, "But, I needed to delay the date."

My two main OC's that I would trust with my life. The male to the right is wearing a shirt that says "Careful, I bite..." And you see 8 eyes on the shirt similar to that of a spider. The girl to the left is just wearing a basic white shirt with a colored stripe going across the shirt. There's a Japanese onomatopoeia sound effect above their heads which means to just stare blankly.

The book is called Deep Work by Cal Newport. It talks about finding focus in a distracted world and the benefit of utilizing deep work without distractions.

I use traditional & digital with my manga. I do traditional first because I have some perfectionism and traditional mediums help me keep changes to a minimum. I then use Clip Studio Paint for toning my pages. I will share my pages once a full chapter is done. I don't like showing page by page 😅

Here's a page from chapter 1 of my manga. I typically draw with a photo blue lead pencil and then will ink over the pages with Pilot ink. After that, I will scan the page to add tone and clean up some rough areas using Clip Studio Paint 4.0

I woke up early today to work on my pages, and I spent a whole hour getting stuck on drawing the other eye just right 🤦‍♀️ my mind is only going to be thinking about getting back home to fix that panel now 🫠 here's a funny meme representing where how I felt this morning.
