"I'm a seven foot tall suit of armor, Mustang. I don't need an escort."

Roy rolls his eyes, a look of playful exasperation on his face. "I'm well aware, Edward. But may I walk you back?"

Ed stares into those dark eyes that are always calculating, always cunning, sometimes cold—yet they are almost always so soft when he looks at Ed lately. Even though Ed is currently nothing but a hunk of metal. Even though Ed can't really feel… Roy still somehow manages to make him feel warm. It's terrifying. It's wonderful. It's… "Yeah. Yeah, alright. If you want."

Roy's answering smile would probably make his cheeks flush and his heart beat a little faster if it were possible.
